Gypsy was actually only 3 when we got her. This explained a lot once we realized this. She was a baby and she did not like being told what to do, and she never had to do anything at her previous home. However, Gypsy did great for our trainer. The challenge came when she came home from the trainers and had to re-adjust to a different place again. She was/is a sweetheart, but would literally throw temper tantrums when we would try to work with her by kicking, bucking and running away from us. These last several months the trainer worked with her more and also with Kevin and myself on learning to ride. Together we are all riding much better. Gypsy gets into mischief instead of throwing temper tantrums, she is just a toddler. She loves people, dogs and will always come when she is called just like a great be puppy running at you.
