Dyna was a very sad girl for about 2 months after we rescued her. Dyna did not realize that we saved her from slaughter. She only understood she was being removed from her home of 15 years, horse team & mourning the loss of her foal 2 months prior. Dyna stood in her stall facing the corner all day, then when dusk would come she would go out and graze. She didn’t know what to do with herself all day, as she was use to working.
1 year later:
- Never had treats & wouldn’t eat any type – Now her favorite treat is carrots, she is even picky on the flavor of an apple.
- Best friend is Dory the Donkey ( after a very rocky start)
- Alpha of the girls
- Likes getting massages
- She is happy to be at Serendipity and will give kisses and hugs
